Insured
If you have private healthcare insurance and wish to see John Simpson to discuss treatment options for your condition, you will need a referral.
Referrals are accepted from your own Doctor (GP), a hospital doctor or a recognised therapist (physiotherapist, osteopath, chiropractor etc).
You should inform your insurers and confirm authorisation prior to consultation.
Self-pay treatment
If you are not insured, self-pay referrals are welcome.
Insurance can be costly and add up over the years. However, self-pay treatment may not be as expensive as you think. We are seeing an increase in self-pay patients as patients take control of their health and healthcare needs.
All costs are available on request through Harrogate General Surgery. Prices for surgery cover all fees including pre-assessment, hospital, anaesthetic, and surgeon fees, as well as one post-operative follow up. Please see the follow link for further information:
